This family of engines — available in two, three and four cylinders — is designed to meet global emissions standards from unregulated to EU Stage IIIB/U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final. The electric power engines in the series all achieve regulated and unregulated emission standards globally.

1100 Series

From the 3-cylinder 1103 range to the 6-cylinder 1106 range, this engine series gives unparalleled performance, exceptional reliability and low cost of ownership. Their trusted performance results from hours of validation in the real world, working with agricultural, construction and electric power providers.

The electric power engines achieve regulated and unregulated emission standards globally. Within the 1100 Series of industrial engines are mechanical and electronic units up to Stage IIIA/Tier 3 equivalent emissions standards.

1500 Series

The 1500 Series gives electric power customers a balance of low ownership costs, world-class power density and dependable performance. With a proven, validated core, robust fuel system and excellent capability at altitude and in intense heat, these engines provide an ideal solution for customers operating in tough climate conditions.

The Perkins 1500 Series is a dependable, cost-effective fuel optimized engine solution designed to meet the needs of electric power customers in Africa, the Middle East, China, South America and Southeast Asia. It also provides EU Stage II/U.S. EPA Tier 2 equivalent emissions standards where needed.

Ideally suited to supplying backup power for health facilities and prime power for factory units, the series delivers improved load acceptance, better fuel consumption and improvement when used at altitude.

1700 Series

The 1700 Series gives OEMs the opportunity to extend usage through excellent power density, allowing customers to downsize and save money, low cost of installation and ownership, and robust and reliable performance. Packed with advanced engine technologies, the series is designed to meet U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards — and is also EU Stage V capable.

With a power range of 250-340 kW (335-456 hp), the 6-cyinder 1706 model is the ideal choice for hard-working applications, such as construction, and has been validated to deliver optimal performance in the harshest working environments.

2200 Series

The 6-cylinder 2200 range of diesel engines delivers outstanding power density, low cost of installation and ownership, and reliable and robust performance for both industrial engine and electric power customers.

2500 Series

The 6-cylinder 2500 range of diesel engines delivers outstanding power density, low cost of installation and ownership, and reliable and robust performance for both industrial engine and electric power (EP) customers. The 15 litre 2506 industrial engines gives OEMs the opportunity to extend engine usage across their range, and the EP engines are ideal for power generation requirements from 455-687 kVA.

The 2506 is designed to meet EU Stage V/U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final, or to suit other global emissions standards. This flexibility allows you to develop single machine platforms to access multiple territories more affordably. The electric power model is certified up to EU Stage IIIA, U.S. EPA Tier 3, China Non-Road Stage III and India’s CPCBII.
